Homemade Whipped Cream (Classic + High-Protein Option)

Ingredients

Classic Whipped Cream:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (or honey/maple syrup)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

High-Protein Option:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (or unflavored collagen)
  • 1–2 tbsp powdered sugar, monk fruit, or stevia (to taste)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place mixing bowl and beaters/whisk in the freezer for 10 minutes (cold tools whip better).
  2. Pour cold heavy cream into the bowl.
  3. Add sweetener and vanilla.
  4. For the high-protein version, also add protein powder or collagen.
  5. Beat on medium-high speed with a hand mixer (or whisk vigorously) until soft peaks form.
  6. For stiffer whipped cream, beat 30–60 seconds longer, but don’t over-whip.
  7. Serve immediately over Heavenly Waffles with your favorite fruit, or store covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.
