Heavenly Pizza Waffles

Ingredients
For the waffle batter:

1 cup Heavenly Waffles Original dry mix

1 cup sparkling water (or club soda)

1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

Optional: 1 egg for texture
Fillings:

¼ cup pizza sauce (per waffle)

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (per waffle)

Optional: Sliced pepperoni, cooked sausage, mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers
- Italian seasoning or oregano (optional)
Instructions

Make the batter:
Whisk Heavenly Waffles mix, sparkling water, oil, and optional egg until smooth. Let sit 2–3 minutes. -
Assemble in waffle iron:
Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
Pour a thin layer of batter on the bottom.
Quickly add a spoonful of sauce, shredded cheese, and your toppings.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning if using.
Add another thin layer of batter over the top and close the iron. -
Cook & serve:
Cook for 6–10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy on the outside and cheese is melted inside.
Let cool slightly before removing and slicing.
