What You’ll Need

  • Heavenly Foods Cinnamon Apple Mix
  • ¾ cup club soda or any carbonated beverage
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon oil (coconut, melted butter, ghee, vegetable, or canola)
  • 1 cup fresh apple, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for tossing apples)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • Nonstick spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or generously spray with nonstick spray.
  2. Prepare the batter
In a bowl, prepare the batter using the Heavenly Foods Cinnamon Apple Mix, club soda, egg, and oil.
  3. Add leavening
Stir in baking powder and baking soda until fully incorporated.
  4. Add apples
Toss chopped apples with flour, then gently fold into the batter.
  5. Bake
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45–55 minutes.
  6. Tent if needed
Loosely cover with foil after 30 minutes if the top begins to brown too quickly.
  7. Check doneness
The loaf is ready when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  8. Cool & slice
Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely before slicing.
